Floor Mounted Emergency Eyewash Station
HSN Code: 84819090
The Chromgate Floor Mounted Emergency Eyewash Station is designed to provide rapid flushing of the eyes and face following accidental exposure to chemicals, dust, particulate matter, or other compatible laboratory contaminants.
The unit is constructed as a free-standing, floor-mounted assembly with twin aerated spray heads, a highly visible eye-wash bowl, quick-action hand operation, rigid vertical support pipe, and suitable inlet and drain connections. The twin spray heads are positioned to provide simultaneous flushing of both eyes with a controlled water stream.
The unit is suitable for installation in laboratories, chemical processing areas, pharmaceutical facilities, research laboratories, QA/QC laboratories, educational laboratories, and compatible industrial workplaces where emergency eye-washing facilities are required.

Eye Wash Bowl & Spray Assembly
The eye wash station incorporates a highly visible bowl designed to collect flushing water and direct it towards the drain connection. The twin spray-head arrangement provides simultaneous flushing of both eyes.
The spray heads can be provided with protective dust covers to minimize contamination when the unit is not in use. Upon activation, the covers are displaced as water begins to flow, depending on the selected design.
Activation & Valve Assembly
A clearly accessible hand-operated activation handle enables rapid operation during an emergency. The valve assembly is designed to provide an immediate supply of flushing water without requiring the user to continuously hold the operating control, where a stay-open valve configuration is provided.
This arrangement allows the affected person to use both hands to keep the eyelids open during flushing.
Floor Mounted Construction
The vertical support assembly is provided with a heavy-duty floor flange for secure anchoring to the laboratory floor. The floor-mounted configuration provides a dedicated emergency eye-washing location independent of laboratory benches or worktops.
The rigid support structure is designed to maintain the eye wash bowl at a convenient operating height while providing stability during emergency use.
