WET SCRUBBER SYSTEM
The Chromgate Wet Scrubber System is designed for efficient removal of corrosive gases, acidic and alkaline fumes, chemical vapours, odours, and other airborne contaminants from laboratory and industrial exhaust streams.
The contaminated exhaust air is brought into contact with a suitable scrubbing solution inside the scrubber column. The pollutants are absorbed, dissolved, or chemically neutralized by the scrubbing liquid, while an integrated mist eliminator helps prevent liquid droplets from being carried into the exhaust air stream.
Wet scrubbers can be custom-engineered according to the nature and concentration of contaminants, required airflow, operating conditions, pressure drop, installation requirements, and application.

DRY SCRUBBER SYSTEM
The Chromgate Dry Scrubber System is designed for removal of chemical fumes, gaseous contaminants, objectionable odours, and selected vapours from exhaust air without the continuous use of water or liquid scrubbing chemicals.
Contaminated exhaust air passes through specially selected filtration and adsorption media. Depending on the application, the system can incorporate particulate pre-filtration, activated carbon, impregnated activated carbon, or other application-specific chemical media to capture and retain contaminants before the treated air is discharged.
Dry scrubbers can be designed as standalone systems or integrated with existing laboratory and industrial exhaust systems.
